  Can I have my ceremony on the grounds?
  Yes, part of the Riverview’s beautiful landscape is a gazebo located beside the Assabet River. Creating a romantic setting for your outdoor ceremony.
  What is the fee for an on-site ceremony?
  Those wishing to host the Wedding Ceremony at Riverview will be charged a flat fee of $500 for outdoor weddings and the appropriate room fee indoor, if using a separate room for the ceremony.
  Is the dance floor and stage movable?
  Yes, Riverview has created a function space in which you have complete control on the size and location of dance floor and stage.
  Is there an option not to have a dance floor?
  Yes, the dance is movable so we can create the room set-up without the dance floor.
  Can I bring in my own catering company?
  Yes, Riverview welcomes any caterer. All outside caterers will be required to submit a current catering license, serve safe certificate and liability insurance.
  Do you have wedding packages?
  Yes, Riverview offers two wedding packages the Platinum Package and Gold Package. Please ask the Sales Manager for more information.
  What is your seating capacity?
  Our maximum seating capacity is 600 guests however, the space is divided into 3 sections each a different square footage allowing us to comfortably accommodate any size party.
  What is the weekend event schedule?
  During peak season we have a day event and an evening event schedule. We do offer the opportunity of privately renting the facility for the day.
  Do you have a bride’s room/special photo room?
  Yes, on the mezzanine level we have a bridal room suitable for private cocktails or photo opportunities. We also have the grand staircase in the lobby area as well as 13 acres of beautifully landscape grounds with an adjoining public park.
  Are you handicap accessible?
  Yes, we have an elevator in the building.
  What is your confirmation and payment schedule?
  In order to secure the preferred date for your event, a 50% deposit of the room fee is due with the signed agreement. Dates will be confirmed upon receipt of your payment. The balance will be due 7 days prior to your event. Any additional charges may be paid at the conclusion of your function. Checks should be made payable to the Hudson Portuguese Club. We also accept MasterCard and VISA. No date will be confirmed without receipt of the deposit.
  Can I use candles as decoration for my event?
  Candles on dinning room tables must be enclosed in hurricane globes; votive candles may be used. Riverview also has glass cylinder center pieces available for rental.
